November News letter
Thank you to all who brought treats to share with your dance class for Halloween. We had some really adorable costumes!!!! I will post pictures that I took on our blog spot sometime this week. Unfortunately I did not get every class. We are still working on our Website and will let you know when that is up and running. If your daughter does not bring a note home by the 2nd week of the month, you will want to check for one. I have lots left each week on the bench etc. I will also post each newsletter on the blog spot. The address for this is http://tiffanydanceco.blogspot.com
A few dates to remember:
Next week 11/10 through 11/15 is our Parents observation. Please make sure you send a representative as we will go over important performance information. PLEASE do not bring other children as they are a distraction to the class.
November 27th through the 29th we will not hold dance classes for the Thanksgiving Holliday.
December 4th is our Performance at the Festival of Trees. We perform at 5:30 you will need to be there no later than 5:00pm.
December 18th is our Christmas Recital at Riverton High School at 7:00 pm.
Your recital fee of $15 per student is due with your November tuition. Costume fees are due by November 15th.
We will take a 2 week break for Christmas. It will begin December 20th and classes will resume January 3rd.
You should be receiving your costume over the next few weeks if you need any alterations please call Debbie Jacobs at 254-5872. Remember those of you getting your lyrical/ballet costume it needs to last all year so alter accordingly, and please take care of it, don’t eat in it, throw it in a wad on the floor etc. If your costume is a rental you cannot make any alterations and please also take care of this costume!!
If any of you know boys between the ages of 4 and like 9ish interested in a hip-hop class please let me know I have a few people interested but need a few more students to make a class.
Please remember to wear appropriate dance clothes to dance and please please pull your hair completely out of your face!!!!

Thank you also for all your referrals, we are currently not taking new students, but do have a waiting list if they would like to be added to it.
Competitive Dance Team Students:
Just a reminder you only have 3 absences per class on the 4th you will have to sit out a performance. (From now until Dec you start over again in Jan). I have students in the Saturday morning classes who are already in jeopardy of sitting out. Please make every effort to be to every class! It really affects both your daughter and the other students when we have to relearn steps and redo formations. Advance students you only have 3 for the entire you and once you are out you will have to stay out. Advance students also need to make sure you are attending technique at least 2x a month. Preferable more but…..
I have both competitive and non-competitive classes to accommodate different commitment levels. For the team you really need to be committed or just take a recreational class.
Here is a list of our Competition Dates.
St. George March 20th and 21st. Solo competition is the 20th and team the 21st . I need you all to plan on being there by Friday night we may have some very early performances and I do not want anyone trying to travel that morning.
I would have liked to have competed before we travel but this competition has been moved too early so……
The other competition dates are:
April 18th in Salt Lake County
May 9th in Salt Lake County
May 16th at UVSC
Mini-team we will compete. At the April 18th and May 9th competitions. (Tuesday 6:30 & 7:30 classes) Mini team students also have the option of participating in our production number…. However if you do this you need to make the commitment to be at each competition. If you would like to be in the production number please sign the bottom of this form and return it to Tiffany. We will do this class like we did last year where we will hold a couple Saturday practices to learn the routine and then just practice during their regular class time.
We will have a Dance Team party on December 19th just hold the day invitations will be sent out early in December. We will pick Secret Sisters at this time.
