Classes available: Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical,
contemporary, tumbling, Musical Theater and Hip-hop ages 3 and up. We offer technique & recreational classes
as well as a competitive team. For Ages
3 through 6 classes offered are: Tap/ballet combo, jazz/ballet combo and
jazz/tumbling. Ages K through 2nd
grade classes offered are: Jazz/ballet, tumbling/jazz or jazz/hip hop combo, or
our mini team which is jazz. 3rd
grade & up classes offered are: Jazz/ tumbling jazz/hip-hop and our
competition team. We offer strictly
ballet technique classes only this is not a performance class. We do have strictly tumbling classes that are
split based on ability not age. To be in
our Pointe class you have to be 12 years old or older with previous dance
experience.
Competition Team: Our competition team will be required to meet a
minimum of 2 hours per week and will be required to attend additional mandatory
practices prior to competitions. The
team is intended for students willing to make a more serious commitment to
attending every practice. To be on
our team you need to be in 1st grade/6yrs old or older. For those Kindergarteners interested in
competing we have a mini-team that meets only once a week, and will only
compete at a few competitions. Mini team will be split by age and ability and
is for 4 year olds thru 2nd grade. Competitions
are not optional. A Schedule of
competition dates will be sent home in October, these performances are
mandatory. (We do 5 competitions per
year). 1st thru 2nd graders
have the option to be part of the regular or the mini-team. To be part of
our team you will be REQUIRED to take a ballet/technique class. This class will not perform. A separate performing lyrical/ ballet class
will be offered. This requirement is for
ALL team members.
Noncompetitive classes: Our noncompetitive
classes will be held once a week for one hour.
These classes will perform at 2 recitals.
Costumes and Performances
We will have both a
Christmas and spring recital, all students will perform a minimum of two times
per year, with other performances available.
There will be small fees associated with each performance.
Students will pay
approximately $30 for Christmas accessories/costume and approximately $50 per spring
costume for younger non-competitive students, (one each year). Competition &
older students requiring adult size’s, will pay approximately $75 per costume
and should plan on one for each class you are in. Competition students should plan on $150 per
class you take to cover the cost of your costume and competition fees. This is
an estimate
Costume money will be due
in October (for the Christmas recital) and January for all other costumes. Early payments will be accepted. The
competition team will be doing FUNDRAISERS TO HELP RAISE MONEY FOR COSTUMES/Competition
Fees. Funds earned will be used
toward dance expenses only; they will not be paid out in cash. If for any reason you fund-raise, then choose
to no longer participate in dance, TIFFANY DANCE CO. is not obligated to pay
out funds earned.
Code of Conduct
- Instructors and classmates will be treated with respect
at all times.
- Students are only allowed in the classes they are
registered for. No sibling or friend observers allowed
in class.
- Absolutely no gum, food or drink allowed in the studio
at any time.
- All students must adhere to the dress code.
- Students with excessive absences may not be allowed to
perform.
- Parents are responsible for the prompt drop-off and
pick-up. Instructors are not
responsible for students after or before their scheduled class time.
- All tuition and fees must be paid by the set due dates.
Dress Code
All students should wear
appropriate dance attire at all times. No
Street clothes, Pajama’s, baggy or sloppy clothes allowed. Hair must always be pulled out of the students
face. No jewelry. Any students not adhering to the dress code
will be asked to change or observe class.
Preschool Students: should wear a leotard and tights of any color
and skirts if they desire. Black tap
shoes, and leather ballet shoes of any color (when they perform they will wear
white ballet shoes). Hair must be pulled securely off the face.
Ballet Students: Leotard
and tights of any color and skirts if desired.
Ballet shoes or foot undies(no Jazz shoes for Ballet classes). Hair pulled back into a neat pony tail or
bun.
Jazz Students:
leotards, or tight fitting tank top with black jazz pants or spankies and
hair pulled securely off face.
Competition Students: Leotards, or tight fitting tank top with jazz
pants or spankies. Wearing all black
will be required at all extra mandatory practices.
Hip-hop & tumbling Students: Any comfortable dance attire of any color,
hip-hop or tennis shoes. No loose
t’shirts for tumbling. Short unitards
are preferred. No shoes are required for
tumbling.
Tuition
$40.00 a month for the first class and $20 for each additional
class (per individual student). The competition team will be required to pay
a $10 fee for ballet/technique along with your monthly tuition, prices will
range from $50 to $125 a month. (2 besides techn/ballet classes $70, 3 classes
$90, 4 classes $110, 5 or more classes $125)
If you have more than one child dancing you will receive a $5 a month discount per student. If you have more than one competition student discounts vary on the amount of classes taken.

Payments &
Policies
Tuition is due the first week of each month, a late fee will be
charged after the 10th. If you bounce a check more than once you
will no longer be allowed to pay with checks
Registration
To register complete the attached
registration form and submit it with a non refundable $25 registration fee ASAP
classes fill up quickly. Mail (13683 S. Barrel Ct Herriman Utah 84096) or
hand-in the registration to Tiffany. Non
competitive classes are a first come first serve basis. Classes will begin in the beginning of
September. Classes are subject to change
during the month of September, if we find your daughters ability would be
better suited in another class.
Competition students
Tryouts/placement day will be Monday May 22nd with make ups during summer camps.
There will be a $10 tryout fee you will pay the day of tryouts. Tryout
times will be emailed to you after registration forms have been turned in. Mini team will also be split by age and
ability. They will have a separate
placement day on August 1st.

Level 2 Tues at 5pm and Thurs at 6pm (must have back walkover)
Level 3 Wed at 3pm and Friday at 2:30pm(must have back handspring)
Level 4 Tues at 8pm and Wed at 8:30pm Thursday at 3pm (must have
back flip)
Summer Schedule (classes June thru Aug) Starting June 5th
Intermediate and advanced teams
will be required to attend 30 hours of summer classes/camps. You must also have
the skills required to be part of these teams.
See Tiffany for details on required skills. Depending on which group you
are placed in you will have other summer requirements ie: ballet, tumbling,
flexibility hour requirements.

All summer classes are done with a punch card so you can come when
you can and not worry about a monthly tuition.
A 5x punch card is $45 or a 10x punch card is $70.
Summer Dance Camps will be $65 for younger kids 1st thru
6th grade and $90 for 7th grade and older per week. Discounts for those attending at least 4 camps. 1st thru 6th grade will be from
4:30 to 6:30pm Mon thru Thursday and 2:30 to 4:30 on Fridays. 7th grade and older will be from
10am to 1pm Mon thru Friday. We will hold
camps the following weeks: June 5th, June 12th, June 19th,
June 26th, July 17th, July 31st and August 14th.
Camps will focus on technique, conditioning and choreography. Each day of the week will be a different
genre/teacher. Camps are a good way to
really improve your skills! Signup
sheets will be in the studio starting May 1st.
