Thank you
everyone for your patience getting this dance year off and running, especially
since I took off for 9 days…. (Sorry about that, I am back and here for the
year now)….
Just a few
short notes this month:
Mark your
calendars for our Christmas Recital, it will be held at Herriman High School on
Thursday Dec 10th. We will
have 3 shows that night. I will let you
know in November which show your child is in.
With November’s tuition you will have both your costume fee and your
recital fee due. Costume fee’s will be
around $25 give or take a few $ and the recital fee will be $15. I will send out an email with your classes
exact costume amount within the next 2 weeks.
There will
not be classes held Thurs Oct 16th thru Sat Oct 18th due
to fall break at all the schools (UEA weekend)
There will
be dance on Halloween.
The kids are
welcome to wear the Halloween costumes to dance the week of Oct 27th
they can also bring a treat to share with their friends if they would like,
this is optional. Competition team girls
Do Not wear your costumes to dance class we have had too slow of a start this
year and need the practice time. We will
set aside another time for you to wear your costume. I will send out a separate email for
this. Mini team you can wear your
costume to class.
All
swag/apparel order forms were due on the 30th of September, I am
just finalizing everything if you have not turned yours in and you wanted to
order something please do so ASAP, this is the only order I will be placing all
year.
Parent
Observation will be the first week in November.
Reminder we
have started two new classes, 1st is our special needs class for all
those 12 and up. It is on Friday at 4:30
and we are looking for a few more students for this class if you know
anyone. 2nd we have started
an older kids beginning tumbling class for those of you feeling like you want
to tumble but not with preschoolers…. This is for those 11yrs old and older it
is on Sat at 11am.
Thank you
everyone for your support and allowing us the opportunity to teach your
children. We love each of them and are
so excited to see what this year has in store for them. Thank you also to everyone who supported our
Handstands For Hazel event it was a success thanks to the support of so many of
you!! Congrats to Octavia for being our
overall winner! She did 1,206 handstands!! Other winners were, Hazel herself, Maddison
Martin, Brinkley Richins, Cassidy Thomas, Emme White, Riley Wood, Audrey
Baggaley, Megan Vaughn, Abby Oborn, Sophie Budd and for our adults Jess
Campbell and Jessica Baggaley. Way to
go!! Congrats also to Sophie Budd as she
will be performing in Ballet Wests Nutcracker this year… any questions or concerns please email me at
