October 2013 Newsletter

Just a few important notes for this Month….

We will have a fall break and no classes will be held Wed Oct 16^th thru Sat Oct 19^th.  We will also not have classes on Thurs October 31^st.  Thursday classes are welcome to do a make- up class sometime during the month of October to make up for the two days off.  Talk to Tiffany and she will let you know when would be the best class for you if you’re interested in this. 

Thurs Oct 24^th thru Wed Oct 30^th the kids can wear their costumes to class and bring a treat to share if they would like. 

The Christmas recital will be Saturday Dec 14^th at Herriman High School.  WE will have 3 shows that morning so mark your calendars, more info for your time etc will come home in the Novembers Newsletter. Christmas costume fees will be due by November 1^st.  Fees are as follows: 

All Dance team girls performing and Tues 4:30 jazz/ballet class will owe a $10 rental fee.  These costumes will need to be returned.

 Tues 5:30 mini team your fee is $60 but this costume will be used all year, you will not have a spring costume fee.

 All other classes your fee is $25.

 Strictly tumbling girls, we will be reusing the same black and blue costumes from last year, if you still have yours and it fits you will not need to buy another one.  

We will have parent’s observation the first week in November.  We will go over dance recital information during this observation so non competing students please try to have someone there.  Please leave all other children at homeJ  Competition students this is optional but we will not go over any info.

Competition Team students we will practice for the production at Providence Hall Elementary on Saturday November 23^rd, this is our mandatory practice that all girls participating in The Little mermaid must be at.  Times will be announced as we get closer but please make sure you are available that morning. 

WE love teaching each of your children.  WE also appreciate your referrals, at this time however our classes are busting at the seams (thank you…) so we are not accepting new students right now.  Thank you for your patience in getting all classes settled. 

Congratulations: Brielle Carr, Chloe Childs, Olivia Christenson and Megan Vaughn they all made Ballet West’s nutcracker.  They will be performing December 23^rd thru the 28^th if anyone would like to see them performJ
