Part their hair on the left side from the front to the crown of the head, then part straight down to the ear.. I pull the remaining hair back in an elastic so that it does not get mixed in.
split the hair into 3 pieces, cross the outer piece under the middle piece, and then the front piece under the middle piece.... then continue this process but pick up more hair as you go down. I pick up from the back a couple of times, and then only pick up from the front the rest of the way down.
If you notice in the above picture, I pick up 2x from the back of the head and 4x from the front. Braid all the way down.
Now comb all the hair over into a side pony tail, make sure you slick it gel it hair spray it whatever so you will not get whispies!
Here is picture #1's part out of order sorry! 
After you have slicked the hair into a side pony tail wrap it up in a bun, I use another elastic to hold it in place.
Now wrap your hair piece around the bun, I twist mine around 2x so it stays in tighter and then bobby pin the crap out of it.... Have them puff their cheeks full of air just for a nice photo...
Then tell them not to have puffy cheeks so you can get a better picture, they may laugh...
Again with the hairspray/gel whatever t get a nice sleek look!
