October Newsletter

Well we have made it through our first month of dance and everyone seems to be settling into their classes etc… We are excited to have you all as our students. We are already getting started on our Christmas Recital… Which is tentatively scheduled for Saturday December 19th at Riverton High School. I am still waiting to hear back from the district, but do mark your calendars. I will let you know the time as soon as I hear from them, I am hoping for a matinee performance!!
A few other dates to keep in mind.
October 17th is the hip-hop convention put on by Dance America, if anyone would like information on this let me know right away so you can get signed up… it is all day, and the cost is between $75 and $100 dollars and is for 4th grade and up.
The week of October 26th through the 31st your child is welcome to wear their Halloween costume to dance and bring treats to share with their class (if they would like).
We will have parents observation the week of November 9th through the 14th. Please make every effort to attend your child's class, we will go over information needed for the Christmas Recital. Please do not bring other children with you as they are a distraction. Parents of competition students this is optional as we will have already had a meeting…
Shoes are in, so if you ordered them please make sure and pay for them as soon as possible… Everyone should have the appropriate shoes for class now, you have had a month to get them. We need to be practicing in the right shoes. You also need to make sure you wear dance clothes to every class with your hair pulled completely off your face to every class!! Thank you!
Christmas costumes fees will be due with November tuition along with a $15 recital fee. I will get prices for costumes to you as soon as possible. Plan on around $25.
