Welcome to dance!!! We are so excited to have you all and to start a new year. We have a lot of fun things in mind already for this year. I do not have a date for our Christmas Recital as of yet but should by the end of the week.
I have had a lot of questions about shoes… your daughter needs the following shoes for dance class. ____________________________________________.
For performing we use White Ballet shoes, black tap shoes, or tan jazz shoes. You can wear any color to class. Just make sure you have the appropriate color for performances. Competitive students you will need pink ballet shoes (if you have ballet) and tan or black jazz shoes depending on your costume.
If anyone is in need of shoes, I have some used shoes you can check for your size, or I will be placing a shoe order in 2 weeks. At the end of this week their will be a sign up sheet in the studio to order shoes. You must put the shoe size. Or you can get onto our blog spot (tiffanydanceco.blogspot.com) and leave a comment under shoe order. I will only place one order this fall (and one in January). I will only order what is on the sign up sheet or on the blog. Don’t call me with shoe orders or email me. Sorry but last year I forgot some this way and I placed too many orders ending up costing me in the long run. It does save you a few dollars ordering them with me, but you won’t have your shoes for a few weeks.
Please also remember to ALWAYS wear appropriate dance clothes to dance, leotard and tights, or jazz pants or shorts with a TIGHT fitting tank top or t-shirt. No baggy clothes, Levis, street clothes. Please always pull your hair up out of your face as well.
Please do not bring friends with you to dance. Parents you are welcome to watch but other siblings and friends are usually too much of distraction. If Parents also become a distraction we will have to change to a no observing studio.
Tuition is due the first lesson of each month.
We will not have dance October 1st through the 3rd due to the Fall School break.
